Today, due to increase in the positive cases of coronavirus in the Union territory . The Directorate of Health has converted the staff building belonging to the Indian Army into COVID-19 care centre in Srinagar.
For a meanwhile, around 42 Positive patients from coronavirus has been shifted to there and kept in isolation. And all the facilities are managed by the Directorate of Health said,Dr.Zakir Khan who is a coordinator of Centre.
Till now there are total 5298 coronavirus cases in the UT J&K. Out of which 2454 are the active cases, 694 from Jammu Division and 1760 from Kashmir Division. The patients recovered has also increased, 506 from Jammu Division and 2275 from Kashmir Division. The deaths reported from Covid-19 in UT are 63 so far.
