POONCH :- The Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Aijaz Asad today held a meeting with administrative officials of revenue wing with a review to fasten the pace of pending revenue cases .
The meeting reviewed court cases in the court of ADC, ACR, Tehsildar Haveli, Mandi, Mankote and Mendar.
DC stressed on the need to improve justice delivery system and clearing the pendency within a reasonable time. He cautioned the officials about the slow pace in deciding cases and directed them to chalk out specific plan to clear the backlog.
DC asked them to keep specific days for hearing revenue cases and directed that no other engagements should be kept on the day Revenue Court is held.
DC further laid stress on timely disposal of cases and remarked that justice should not be delayed as justice delayed is justice denied. Specific timelines have been given to concerned officers for disposing off pending cases.
