A FIR was filed against the Editor-in-chief of Zee news and Sudhir Choudhary on Thursday by the Kerala Police.
He hosts prime time show Daily news and analysis on Zee News.
The highlight of the show on 11th March, 2020 was the “Jihad Chart.” In his broadcast DNA programme he explained his viewers what the chart detailed: “types of Jihad,” FIR stated.
In his show he taught his viewers about the different “types of jihad” with a flow chart was criticised for not only being plagiarised but for being offensive towards the minority community.
Meanwhile, the popular TV anchor has been furiously posting on his Twitter account how unfair the FIR against him is, he went on to call it his “Pulitzer Prize.
“The award for exposing inconvenient facts.A clear msg for media. If u don’t toe the decades old pseudo-secular line you’ll be behind bars.” Sudhir wrote in tweet.
This is the price for daring to speak against #ZameenJihad in Jammu,#LoveJihad in Kerala,
PFI funding of CAA protests,
and for daring to enter Shaheen Bagh.
I have all the respect for the law but these tactics won’t stop me. Bring it on! https://t.co/4xoLhIgDSi
