Indian railways took a initative to prepare Isolation coaches to fight the Coronavirus Pandemic. Nine patients can be accommodated in one coach.
Visuals from Kamakhya Railway Station (Assam) in Northeast Frontier Railway zone has been shared.
Features of the isolation coach include bathrooms created by renovating toilets and electrical modifications for medical instruments.
If the prototype is finalised, the Indian Railways plans to convert ten coaches into isolation wards each week in each zone.

India is currently in 21-day lockdown to contain the spread of the coronavirus in nation. There are total 933 cases so far and 20 deaths has been reported along with 66 cases recovered.
