Jammu boy making big in Bollywood with his latest release “Gonekesh”

Bibi, Dil Dhoondta hai and Nuska Tarana songs of the movie gets huge appreciation


Sahil Sharma:- The state of J&K has produced great singers, actors, directors and many other artists for the last many decades but these days the young and dynamic music composer Kanish Sharma spreading his vibes through his amazing compositions in the bollywood music industry. Kanish Sharma a young artist from Jammu has given the music direction of the his new movie “Gonekesh” directed by Qwasim Khallow presented by Eros international worldwide with music on Zee music company. Gonekesh, which is released on 29th of March 2019, starring Shwetha tripathi, Jitender kumar, Vipin Sharma, is receiving a very positive response by the critics and the music of the film is getting popular all around. Kanish has composed three tracks in the film Gonekesh in which he collaborated with Kavita Seth, Asees Kaur , Shahid Mallya and Mohan Kannan.It is pertinent to mention here that after rejecting 30 music composers, kanish was finally selected by the director Qasim Khallow for music composition of Gonekesh.

In his journey of 8 years in the city of dreams Mumbai, Kanish Sharma as a Music Director/ Singer have already done four bollywood movies and many ads for leading multinational brands like Cadbury, Dubai Electricity, Lux, Maruti Suzuki, Tata, BlackBerry, Pigeon, Faces canada and many others.Kanish has also worked with renowned Bollywood personalities like Shankar Mahadevan, Mika singh, Swanand Kirkire, Harshdeep Kaur, Amit kumar, Aditi singh Sharma, Rahul Ram, Hard kour and many more in his past 3 movies.His last bollywood movie was “Kaun kitne pani main” starring Kunal kapoor, Radhika Apte, Gulshan grover and some other big names of music industry. He has also done shortfilm( Grey day at school) last year for Gas Authority of India (GAIL)’s “Hawa Badlo Campaign” which got tremendous response and appreciation and won best campaigning award too.”

Speaking about the future projects with Kanish on an exclusively interview with India Headlines, Kanish said the journey has just begun, currently he is working on a score for a new story and simultaneously scoring for advertising. Kanish added ‘’His quench for independent music let him to create something different from mainstream and also wish to bring to limelight the Dogri folk music which would represent our state’s composite culture”, added Kanish.”
