An old aged man who went missing yesterday has been united with family in Sunderbani area of Rajouri district.
On Wednesday evening, some locals saw an unknown aged person
at Bajabain road of Sunderbani who than informed police after which a team headed by SHO Sunderbani, Romal Singh reached on the spot and brought the aged man in police station.
It was found that the aged man is also suffering from partial paralysis and was neither able to divulge his identification nor was in possession of any identity card.
After providing meal and bedding to the aged man, police station Sunderbani flashed all the police stations and police posts to inquire about any missing report while information was also shared in media and on social media groups so that some clue about the man can be developed.
In late night hours, a person from Narla Bambal village of Rajouri contacted SHO Sunderbani and claimed that the aged man is his father.
Today morning, the said person reached police station Sunderbani and produced documentary proof which authenticated that the aged man is his father and was than identified as Mohammad Shafi resident of Narla Bambal.
After legal formalities, he was handed over to his son.
People have widely appreciated the efforts of Police team of Sunderbani police station in re-uniting the aged man with his family.
