‘Baat be-baat pe apni hi baat kehta hai , mere andar ek chhota sa shahr rehta hai”
Jammu:- The originator of this famous line,‘Baat be-baat pe apni hi baat kehta hai , mere andar ek chhota sa shahr rehta hai” Sh Neelesh Misra was present in central university of Jammu yesterday 27th February. He was speaking in the “Faculty development program on Rural Communication” organized by the Central University of Jammu.
The lecture of Mr Misra was one of the best and interesting lectures delivered in the session. Delivering his lecture he emphasized on the improvement of connection between cities and rural areas of the country and said that the development of countries depends on its rural population.
He said “we cannot connect to any village only by sitting in cities.” That is the reason behind his starting of India’s biggest independent entity ‘Gaon Connection’, which is making a bridge between rural and urban lives. Gaon connection is a newspaper which takes information and knowledge to rural communities, showcases governance challenges and publish inspiring stories from rural areas.
He advised the journalist and the faculty member to remain connected with the rural areas and work for the development of the same. He also gave useful advises to the students from the department of Journalism and asked them to work for the development of the country at large. He asked them to never forget the essence of journalism and to remain objective while reporting.
