Continuing its efforts to reach the downtrodden people of society, prominent young 23 year old social activist from Rajouri, Chowdhary Rabiya Shafiq along with Chowdhary Mushtaq Budgami distributed study material like Notebooks and Pencils etc among 600 poor students in Neelgam village of Chadoora Budgam on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Rabiya said that the efforts to reach the downtrodden people, particularly kids, are my hobby, adding it is our responsibility to help the needy and our tiniest contribution to society can bring wonders to many life.
“If we get any information in future where students are suffering from lack of study material, she and her team would always ready to reach those place and help them and highlight their issues and problems which would help to uplift our literacy rate and to encourage our young blood” Rabiya Quoted
Rabiya also thanked People for trusting and inviting her to their respective places. And thanked media fraternity for the coverage and said she never wanted coverage but its important to inspire others to take a step forward for such causes, she added.
The students on the occasion expressed their gratitude towards the distributors for helping them and hoped they would continue to take lead in conducting programmes for social upliftment.
The locals were also visibly overwhelmed by this noble gesture of Rabiya.
